BIG LAUNCHING OF NEW 'POR AMOR' VIDEO BY JON SECADA IN TIMES SQUARE

New York, NY--February 14, 2003--Jon Secada launches today, Saint Valentine's Day, at 8:00 pm, the new video of his song entitled "Por Amor" that is included in his most recent production "Amanecer." For this great event, he has chosen the huge screen in Times Square (44th Street and Broadway) in the heart of the big apple, in New York City. Jon Secada will be the first Hispanic artist to launch a video in this popular place.

The "Por Amor" video was produced in the beautiful and romantic streets of Santo Domingo's colonial area, in the Dominican Republic. The composer of this song is the great Dominican maestro Rafael Solano, who was invited for a special performance in the video. Rafael Solano comments that even though this song has been recorded before by other artists "Jon Secada has given 'Por Amor' a new turn thanks to the strength of his performance and to the young style of his personality."
