GISSELLE SIGNS WITH UNIVERSAL MUSIC LATINO

Miami, FL--July, 2003--

Gisselle, one of the most versatile and successful singers of tropical music has entered a new stage of her career with the Universal Music Latino family.

This information was released Wednesday by Universal executives John Echevarría (President of Universal Music Latino), Eddie Fernandez (Vice President of A&R) and Walter Kolm ( Senior Vice President of Marketing and A&R) along with artist representative, Tony Mojena.

"Due to her passion, her talent and her love for Merengue we considered she would be the perfect fit to represent Universal in this genre of music," said Echevarría.

The incorporation of Gisselle to Universal Music Latino will offer the Puerto Rican artist the opportunity to take up again the style of music that made her famous, Merengue.

"In my last albums, I experimented with different sounds in order to enrich my repertoire, but the time has come to return to my merengue roots," said Gisselle.

Currently, Gisselle is in the process of selecting composers and producers for her upcoming new release scheduled for year's end.

"I'm ready to fully dedicate myself once again to my fans," Gisselle concludes.
