ENRIQUE IGLESIAS WINS A LATIN GRAMMY!

ENRIQUE'S "BEST MALE POP VOCAL ALBUM" WIN AT THE 4th ANNUAL LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS EARNS HIM HIS SECOND GRAMMY

September 2003 - Enrique Iglesias received a Latin Grammy Award for "Best Male Pop Vocal" last night at the Fourth Annual Latin Grammy Awards for his Spanish album, "Quizas," which was released last year. This is Enrique's second Grammy win - he received his first back in 1996 for his self-titled debut album. Unable to attend last night due to work commitments, host George Lopez remarked about Enrique, "If I was dating (Russian tennis champ) Anna Kournikova, I wouldn't have time to be here either."

This Grammy only further certifies the achievements Enrique has had on both the Spanish and English charts. Since beginning his career, he has had unprecedented chart success with 16 number one singles, more than any other Latin artist ever. His most recent song, 'Para Que La Vida,' follows the success of Iglesias' previous two released singles, 'Mentiroso' & 'Quizas.' All three songs hit number one and are from his current project, QUIZAS.

Launched in September 2002, QUIZAS sold more than one million records worldwide its first week out, making it the best selling Spanish language album released in recent years. It debuted at number one on the Billboard Latin Albums Chart, and had the highest debut ever for a Spanish language album, at #12, on the Billboard chart of Top 200 Albums. QUIZAS was produced by Enrique Iglesias, Lester Mendez and Rafael Peréz Botija.

Enrique is currently in the studio working on a new English language album, the follow up to the hugely successful ESCAPE, which has now sold more than 9 million copies worldwide. All totaled, Enrique has sold over 35 million units worldwide over the course of his career.
